Narayan Subedi received his Postgraduate Degree in Public Health (MPH) from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and completed PG Diploma in Public Health Nutrition (PGDPHN) from Public Health Foundation, India. He also completed short courses on ‘Implementation Science’ from the University of Washington and ‘Systematic Reviews in Nutrition for Global Policy-Making’ from Cornell University in the USA.
Mr Subedi is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at Central Department of Public Health, Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University. Currently, he is a PhD researcher at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. His PhD project focuses on understanding the implementation of digital health interventions for self-management of cardiovascular diseases.
As a researcher, he led different public health projects, including Report Card Development on Physical Activity of Children and Youth in Nepal. Mr Subedi has more than 13 years’ experience in the field of public health and research and has presented his research work in various national and international conferences.
His current research interests include physical activity, public health nutrition, and implementation of health interventions with a focus on the prevention of non-communicable diseases.
