Mr. Surendra, Admin and Logistics Officer at Nepal Development Society (NeDS) with a wealth of experience in administration and financial procedures spanning over three decades, brings a comprehensive understanding gained from his tenure in various NGOs and INGOs. Commencing his career as an Administration and Finance Officer at ActionAid Nepal in 1993, Mr. Shrestha swiftly rose to the position of Senior Admin and Finance Officer within the same organization, where he dedicated ten years of service. Subsequently, he contributed his expertise to several notable organizations including Sagun, Lumanti, Teach for Nepal, Oxfam, Christian Aid Nepal, SOSIN CDA TU (research project funded by USAID). Mr. Shrestha holds a Bachelor Degree of Commerce with a specialization in Finance. Additionally, he has undergone advanced professional training in various areas such as office management, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Financial Management, Savings and Credit, Training of Trainers (ToT), Computer literacy, Humanitarian Logistic and Supply Chain Management and Internal Audit. Furthermore, he has been recognized as a proficient Trainer, contributing his knowledge in various sessions. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Shrestha actively engages in several organizations. He serves as the Chairperson for the Society for Participatory Cultural Education (SPACE) and fulfills the role of Treasurer for the Society for Peoples in Needs (SPIN). Moreover, he is a member of SAGUN and holds the position of Treasurer at Hope Hermitage Nepal.
