Nisha Rana received her PhD from Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden (2019). She completed her master’s degree in Public Health from SRM university, Chennai and bachelor’s degree in public health from Institute of Medicine, Maharajgunj, Nepal. Her subject of interest and working areas includes public health and research. Her PhD thesis was aimed on “Effect of timing of umbilical cord clamping on anaemia at 8 and 12 months and later neurodevelopment in late pre-term and term infants; a facility-based, randomized- controlled trial in Nepal”.
