Niraj possesses over four years of experience in public health and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health completed from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan in December 2021, he has trainings in clinical research through a fellowship at B&B Hospital. His professional pursuits and research endeavors primarily focus on non-communicable diseases, mental health, and their implications on health financing. Prior joining Nepal Development Society, as a program officer Niraj served as a consultant for the USAID-funded Strengthening Health System (SSBH) project, Notably, working in the frontlines during the COVID-19 crisis, beside these he has also worked as Demonstrator at the College of Medicine, Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences, where they actively contributed to the department of community medicine. Additionally, he has experience in disaster management and has worked in the aftermath of the 2072 earthquake in Sindhupalchok.
