Samip Khatri

MEAL Officer

Samip is an experienced public health professional with an academic background in public health and medical microbiology. He holds a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) and a Master’s in Medical Microbiology (MSc) from Tribhuvan University. He has more than 4 years of experience in project implementation and monitoring the key activities of the project. He has a deep interest in operational research and has demonstrable experience in writing and publishing scientific research papers. He has worked as an academic in Devdaha Medical College & Research Institute and Sanjeevani College of Medical Sciences in Butwal. As a project coordinator in an NGO and consultant in a UN agency, he was responsible for monitoring and implementing project activities, engaging with concerned stakeholders, supervising, and conducting stakeholder meetings, and achievement sharing meetings. As a graduate of medical microbiology, he also has experience working in a laboratory setting studying the antimicrobial resistance pattern among apathogenic E. coli at Korea Nepal Friendship Hospital. Samip Khatri has extensive experience in both the academic and development sector, coupled with a strong background in public health and medical microbiology.
