Objectives of the Main Study
- To monitor the new World Health Organization Guidelines on physical activity, sedentary behaviour and sleep for children under 5 years of age.
- To examine how physical activity (PA), sedentary behaviour (SB), and sleep are associated with child health and development and to examine potential correlates of PA, SB, and sleep.
Pilot Study Objectives
- The primary aim of the PilotSUNRISE study was to determine the feasibility of recruiting 100 children from urban and rural settings (50 from each), and to test the feasibility and acceptability of the data collection measures proposed for the main study.
